A FAREWELL MEETING

10: A farewell meeting was held at Jaharatala High School on the
eve of the retirement of Sir Amal kumar Dutta assistant teacher of the school. As
a English teacher he was very popular. The meeting started with the departing
sangeet by Rabindra Nath Tagore by the students. Our school headmaster welcomed
all of us. He also gave speech on Sir Dutta’s vast education, deep love for the
students and the institution. The
students presented colourful programme like drama, songs etc. At the same time,
Sir Amal kumar Dutta made an apology to the teachers and students with a view
to forgiving you for getting any misbehave ever done by me. The meeting came to
an end with the speech of the headmaster.
